SLOW DANCE
Have you ever watched kids
On a merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain
Slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?
Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?
You better slow down, Don't dance so fast.
Time is short, The music won't last.....
Do you run through each day on the fly?
When you ask "How are you?" Do you hear the reply?
When the day is done do you lie in your bed
With the next hundred chores Running through your head?
You'd better slow down, Don't dance so fast.
Time is short, The music won't last......
Ever told your child, we'll do it tomorrow?
And in your haste, Not see his sorrow?
Ever lost touch, Let a good friendship die.
Cause you never had time to call and say,'Hi'

Time is short. The music won't last....
When you run so fast to get somewhere
You miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day,
It is like an unopened gift.... Thrown away.
Life is not a race .....Do take it slower

“Why Women Cry”
A little boy asked his mother,
'Why are you crying?'
'Because I'm a woman,' she told him,
'I don't understand,' he said,
His Mom just hugged him and said,
'And you never will,'
Later the little boy asked his father,
'Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?'
'All women cry for no reason,'
was all his dad could say,
The little boy grew
up and became a man,
still wondering why women cry,
Finally he put in a call to God,
When God got on the phone, he asked,
'God, why do women cry so easily?'
God said: 'When I made the woman
she had to be special, I made her
shoulders strong enough to carry the
weight of the world, yet gentle
enough to give comfort,
I gave her an inner strength to endure
childbirth and the rejection that many
times comes from her children, I gave her
a hardness that allows her to keep going
when everyone else gives up, and take
care of her family through sickness and
fatigue without complaining, I gave her the
sensitivity to love her children under any
and all circumstances, even when her
child has hurt her very badly,
I gave her strength to carry her husband
through his faults and fashioned her
from his rib to protect his heart, I gave
her wisdom to know that a good husband
never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests
her strengths and her resolve to stand
beside him unfalteringly,
And finally, I gave her a tear to shed,
This is hers exclusively to use
whenever it is needed,'
'You see my son,' said God,
'the beauty of a woman is not in the clothes
she wears, the figure that she carries,
or the way she combs her hair, The beauty
of a woman must be seen in her eyes,
because that is the doorway to her heart

One day a young lady was driving along with her father.
They came upon a storm. The young lady asked her father what
should she do, he said "keep driving". Cars began to pull over to the side,
the storm was getting worse. What should I do the young lady asked,
"keep driving" her father replied. On up a few feet she noticed
eighteen wheelers was pulling over also. She told her dad,
I must pull over I can barely see ahead. It is terrible out here everyone
is pulling over. Her father told her not to give up just keep driving.
Now the storm was terrible but she never stopped driving
and soon she could see a little clearer. After a couple
of miles she was on dry land and the sun was out. Her father
said now pull over and get out.
She said "but why now?" He said "get out look back,
at all the people that gave up and is still in the storm".
You never gave up and now your storm is over.
Just because everyone else, even the ones that
appear to be the largest and strongest gives up. You don't have to,
because if you keep going, on up ahead your storm will soon be over and the
sun will shine upon your face again. God will always
be there for you no matter how strong the storm,
no matter how scared you are God will be there with you to keep
you moving and keep you strong.

People need people and friends need friends
And we all need love for a full life depends
Not on vast riches or great acclaim,
Not on success or on worldly fame,
But just in knowing that someone cares
And holds us close in their thoughts and prayers-
For only the knowledge that we're understood
Makes everyday living feel wonderfully good,
And we rob ourselves of life's greatest need
When we "lock up our hearts" and fail to heed
The outstretched hand reaching to find
A kindred spirit whose heart and mind
Are lonely and longing to somehow share
Our joys and sorrows and to make us aware
That life's completeness and richness depends
On the things we share with our loved ones and friends.

I thank our gracious God above
For His precious gifts of love,
Expressed in effervescent Spring
And every vibrant living thing.
Just as we cannot have
human and animal life without water and plants,
neither can we have lasting peace
without love and compassion.
 The Secret 
One day, one friend asked another,
"How is it that you are always so happy?
You have so much energy,
and you never seem to get down."
With her eyes smiling, she said,
"I know the Secret!"
"What secret is that?"
To which she replied,
"I'll tell you all about it,
but you have to promise to
share the Secret with others."
"The Secret is this:
I have learned there is little I can do
in my life that will make me truly happy.
I must depend on God to make
me happy and to meet my needs.
When a need arises in my life,
I have to trust God to supply
according to HIS riches.
I have learned most of the time
I don't need half of what I think I do.
He has never let me down.
Since I learned that 'Secret', I am happy."
The questioner's first thought was,
"That's too simple!"
But upon reflecting over his own life
he recalled how he thought a bigger house
would make him happy, but it didn't!
He thought a better paying job
would make him happy, but it hadn't.
When did he realize his greatest happiness?
Sitting on the floor with his grandchildren,
playing games, eating pizza or reading a story,
a simple gift from God.
We can't depend on people to make us happy.
Only GOD in His infinite wisdom can do that.
LOVE IS LIKE MAGIC
AND IT ALWAYS WILL BE.
FOR LOVE STILL REMAINS
LIFE'S SWEET MYSTERY
LOVE WORKS IN WAYS
THAT ARE WONDROUS AND STRANGE
AND THERE'S NOTHING IN LIFE
THAT LOVE CANNOT CHANGE
LOVE CAN TRANSFORM
THE MOST COMMON PLACE
INTO BEAUTY AND SPLENDOR
AND SWEETNESS AND GRACE
LOVE IS UNSELFISH,
UNDERSTANDING AND KIND,

I asked for wisdom...
I asked for wisdom...
And God gave me problems to solve.
I asked for prosperity...
And God gave me brains
and the strength to work.

troubled people to help.

I received nothing I wanted.

ASKED THE LORD TO BLESS YOU
I asked the Lord to bless you
as I prayed for you today
To guide you and protect you
as you go along your way.
His love is always with you,
